Our end of fiscal year (EOFY) campaign officially launched this past weekend on Mother’s Day and will run through to June 30. This campaign is going to be all about women and water, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to share it with you!
Our goal for this campaign is to not only raise awareness about the negative impact that the water crisis has on women but also to highlight the positive impact that access to safe, sustainable water can have on women and their communities. As primary figures in their families, a woman’s roles in a community are vital for any kind of development – whether it be physical, spiritual, social, or economical. When women are empowered, water flows, and when water flows, women are empowered. It’s a relationship that goes both ways, and it’s critical to bringing an end to a community’s WASH crisis.
