This summer, church VBS programs across the U.S. were invited to work together to fund a water project for school kids in an indigenous community in Peru.
Nearly $18,000 was raised by children to fund this water project, PLUS an additional water project for a school in Haiti!
Brian Owen and his daughter had a lot of fun speaking to a group of 400 kids at the VBS program sponsored by First Baptist Church of Katy, TX.
These kids raised $6,700 to provide safe water to kids in Peru, far exceeding their original goal of $2,000!
