We are excited to announce the launch of my.water.cc with the first iteration of an improved donation process.
In collaboration, the Finance, Strategy & Innovation, Marketing & Communications teams, and external partners, have taken the first exciting step in the my.water.cc “Super Project.” Together, we’re building the foundation for a supporter platform, making it easier for Living Water’s users to connect with us and our neighbors. (Supporting SO3 and SO4)
This is a game-changing tool designed for our supporters and marks a significant milestone! We’re seamlessly integrating a new donation platform with my.water.cc, Salesforce, and our essential back-end systems.
A Soft Launch to Existing Donors: The initial rollout was a soft launch, with targeted communications sent to our dedicated Every Drop monthly and recurring donors. These communications included detailed information about the platform and its new features.
Here’s what you, our donors and supporters, can now do on my.water.cc:
- Create an Account: Sign up and get started with your personalized my.water.cc experience.
- Review Giving History: Easily access and review your giving history at your convenience.
- Update Contact Info: Keep your contact information up to date.
- Update Payment and Credit Card Info: Manage your preferred payment methods. Plus, we’ve introduced new payment methods like Google Pay, Apple Pay, and ACH for your convenience.
- Amend Payment Schedule: Tailor your giving preferences by pausing donations for 30, 60, or 90 days.
- Adjust Monthly Recurring Amounts: Modify your monthly recurring contributions according to your preferences.
- Cover Transaction Fees: Take a proactive step to cover transaction fees during the donation process.

What else is under the hood: Behind the scenes, we’ve built some features into the foundation of my.water.cc:
- Upsell Prompts: For donation forms, we now have prompts to encourage one-time donors to join the Every Drop monthly giving program.
- Analytics: We can track how people are engaging with my.Water.cc to ensure continuous improvement. Since our technical launch on August 27th, we’ve had 127 unique visitors, with 90 users registering. We’re reaching supporters from across the globe, including South Asia, New Zealand, Nicaragua, and Zambia.
- Mobile Responsiveness: While currently available as a mobile-responsive web-based platform, we have our sights set on rolling out Android and iOS apps in the future.
- Real-Time Integration: We’ve integrated Salesforce data to sync in real-time with Firebase, a real-time database. This ensures a better user experience as donors can see their donation activity updates in real time.
