More than 65 Latino pastors and ministry leaders from the Greater Houston area joined Living Water International at our Ignite luncheon on Tuesday, October 17 at Ecclesia’s downtown campus. Our church mobilization consultant, Abraham “Abe” Guajardo, did a phenomenal job of filling the room and leveraging his lifetime of experience with Houston Latino churches.
The event consisted of lunch, worship, and a panel discussion led by Abraham as panel moderator. The energy was palpable, and the worship was spirit-filled. Thrivent Financial generously sponsored the lunch, while Ke’Erron Sims and Morgan Campo led worship.
Our panel speakers included Mike Mantel, Kevin Magee, Senior Director of Church Engagement, and Luis “Kike” Martinez. Kike has served as a longtime friend of LWI. He has introduced us to ministry leaders across the US and Latin America and is a champion of our work. His willingness to share his experiences from the field was a profound and key aspect of the event.
Countless seeds were planted this week, and over 20 pastors expressed a desire to engage in a 3-year transformational relationship with Living Water International. We look forward to continuing to see the fruit in 2024, as Abe leads a trip to Mexico with a group of pastors from our time together.

Ignite brought continued momentum towards our work of fulfilling Overflow 25 Guiding Position 1: Co-laboring with the global church. Praise God for all He is doing and continues to accomplish on behalf of the thirsty!
