Data Intelligence Assess and Plan: Project Update

For years, Living Water has been on a journey to transform the way we use information for the mission.

In our Overflow 25 strategy, we state:

In October 2023, a strategic level 3 project was launched to prepare the way for data-informed agility at Living Water. The Data Intelligence Plan and Assess project objective in the charter is…

“To engage outside experts in the area of data intelligence to work alongside internal staff to 1) assess where we are as an organization 2) map out a plan for launching a data intelligence practice at LW inclusive of elements of people, process, and technology.”

PROJECT DETAILS

The project includes three phases of work with the 501 Data Solutions that are scheduled to complete at the beginning of March 2024.

PHASE 1: ASSESSMENT (October – Dec 2023)

This phase included learning through reading current materials and interviewing staff so the 501 Data Solutions team could with consideration of people, process and technology assess existing data driven processes across all stages of data development: 1) Descriptive 2) Diagnostic 3) Prescriptive 4) Predictive.

Phase 1 wrapped up on January 8, 2024, with a special Round Table presentation, review of assessment findings, answering questions and gathering insight on what might be considered a priority when designing the recommended solution.
