Nathan Tembo is a ninth-grade student at Kapara School in the Mbenjele community of Zambia. The Kapara School didn’t have a water source on the school premises, forcing students to wander the broader community in search of water. As a result, many students relied on the community’s only hand pump at the local market. Because so many people relied on the hand pump, long lines formed to gather a single container of water.
