The Lantibole community endured a dire water crisis that devastated the residents’ way of life. Every day, women and children, as the primary water collectors, undertook a 15-20 minute journey to a nearby stream, which was the community’s primary water source. This trek was fraught with risks, as the path is densely populated with brush and trees, concealing potential dangers from snakes and other wild animals.
