Recently, Mike shared with our global staff about the overwhelming support by the board to extend the Overflow strategy through FYE28. This is an exciting opportunity to continue the momentum we have built in our first two years and create even greater impact for God’s Kingdom. As we’ve reflected on Overflow 25, here are a few observations:
- It’s a strong strategy and we have good momentum
- We have learned so much and are making great progress (see latest strategy report)
- We have more work to be done in the same direction
Normally we would spend a year and create a new strategy. Instead, we will build on the Overflow strategy that is divinely inspired and socially constructed. The board has approved to extend the strategy with some minor adjustments:
Instead of a full-scale strategy design process, we will follow a simpler, more targeted process from October 2024 through February 2025. To learn more about the Strategy Extension timeline, please refer to the Planning and Reporting Calendar.
