Serving Well Series: Listen to Part 2 Now!

In a previous Wellspring update, available here, we announced Connection’s new three-part audio series: Serving Well. Today, we’re excited to share that Part 2 is now public, and speakers for Part 3 have been confirmed!

Serving Well features speakers from different regions, departments, and seasons in our organization’s journey of service, harnessing real-life experiences and the art of storytelling to provide a well-rounded and engaging look into the inner workings of Living Water as it relates to SO2: People Served. These three episodes work interdependently to bring listeners into the history, strategy, mindsets, and biblical worldview that underpin Living Water’s philosophy and approach to serving the overlooked and excluded, as well as how we track and communicate this impact to our staff and our supporters.

We can’t serve the thirsty without resources, we can’t ask supporters for those resources without displaying good stewardship, and we can’t ensure good stewardship without reliable impact numbers or ethical communication.

…so, what has this commitment to serving well looked like at Living Water, and how does that set us apart? Let’s tune in and find out!

  • Serving Well Part 1: The Reason

“What does it mean to truly serve at Living Water International?” with Jonathan Wiles. In this episode, our Chief Operations Officer dives into our biblical foundations, our holistic approach to WASH services and community development, how and why we co-labor with the Church, and more. If you haven’t already–listen to Part 1: The Reason!

  • Serving Well Part 2: The Journey

“How did we get here?”  with Wesley Charles and Aleisha Elliott. This episode takes us back in time to the decision to begin working within WPAs and the significance of this shift, candidly diving into the challenges and opportunities of measuring our direct and indirect impact in empowering holistic flourishing. Tune in to Part 2: The Journey now!

  • Serving Well Part 3: Communicating Impact

“What is this new way of communicating how many people we serve?” with Barak Bruerd and Stephen Okiror. This episode will harness the power of storytelling to illustrate the new annual estimate methodology for communicating the impact of our WPAs in an engaging and exciting way, explaining its value to both program and engagement neighbors while pointing listeners to our plans for continued improvement. Coming soon!

Whether you’ve been at Living Water for a long time, or you’re fairly new to this journey of impact–we know you will enjoy reflecting with, rejoicing alongside, and learning from our colleagues by grabbing your headphones, sitting back, and tuning in to Serving Well Part 2: The Journey.

P.S. Don’t forget to share our Serving Well series with your friends and family so they can learn more about Living Water! We will update you as soon as Part 3 has been released.
