LifeStraw by Vestergaard donates Water Filters to LWI Zambia

The Living Water Africa region collaborated with LifeStraw by Vestergaard, a key Living Water partner, to donate 16,000 water filters to Living Water Zambia to help combat the cholera pandemic. By filtering out contaminants from unsafe water, these filters enable users to have safe drinking water. Living Water Zambia provided strategic guidance to the Ministry of Health, working together to develop a distribution plan of these water filters to the identified communities affected by the Cholera pandemic. The filters were handed over to the Ministry of Health in March 2024 for distribution, per the agreed plan. The Living Water Zambia Country Director, Generous Mukunga, was given an opportunity to give a speech during the handing-over ceremony, as shown in the video below:
