The communities of South and West Nyakach in Kisumu, Kenya, have experienced behavioral transformation, improved Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM), community harmony, economic flourishing, and knowledge gained from the trainings done by the Church and Community Mobilization Volunteer (CCMV) facilitators using the Sanitation and Hygiene (S&H) kits. The kits include Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) tools, sanitation marketing aids, and Social Behavior Change (SBC) promotion resources.

The kits are designed to improve public health standards by carrying a multi-faceted mission of empowering individuals through MHM promotion, equipping communities with improved sanitation products (e.g. SATO latrine solutions), cultivating lasting behavioral transformations in hygiene practices, and elevating community-wide sanitation and health awareness.
While distributing the MHM promotion kits, the CCMVs have been able to organize workshops, meetings, and promotional forums which have continuously served as conduits of enlightenment, casting a wider net of S&H awareness.
The delivery of these all-encompassing S&H kits to the CCMVs has birthed a channel of positive change in public health, community involvement, and economic resilience. Grounded in a holistic approach and steered by empowered community leaders, these initiatives herald a future of sustained progress. Nurturing these seeds of change through continuous support and vigilance will magnify the fruits of behavioral change.
