Living Water Service Center (LWSC) Kenya was thrilled to host nine Living Water Trip participants in Q1 of FY25 from First Baptist Church (FBC) Pontotoc. The trip participants spent valuable time with community members and students of the Thurdibuoro Secondary School, in South & West Nyakach WPA in Kisumu, Kenya, benefitting from this holistic WASH intervention. They worked hand in hand with the dedicated LWSC team to successfully drill a well for the school. This experience was a privilege for the trip participants, who got to witness how access to safe water uplifts communities and restores hope.
The trip participants were also excited to participate in sanitation and hygiene trainings, envisioning workshops for pastors, and bible storying. The trip participants were grateful for the learning opportunities, new relationships formed, and the transformative experiences during their trip to Kisumu, Kenya; all thanks to the excellent planning done by the LWSC team. Please enjoy some of the photos from the trip!
