The residents of the Sakhulani community in Ng’ongwe Ward faced a serious water crisis. With no alternative, they had to rely on unprotected hand-dug wells. These wells were shared with local wildlife and exposed to dirt, animal feces, insects, and other harmful bacteria that made the water highly unsafe.
