The community members of Tilorier faced an unrelenting water crisis. “The situation was dire. Our hand-dug wells often ran dry during droughts, forcing our women and children to travel 40 to 60 minutes for water. Relying on these wells led to widespread waterborne diseases like typhoid and diarrhea. It was a tough time, and many in the community suffered.
