Students and staff at Aomo Primary School in Thurdibuoro faced a severe water crisis. The school depended on an untreated rainwater tank for daily use, which was unsafe and unreliable. John Omollo, a 60-year-old teacher, said: “During dry seasons, teachers had to ask students to walk up to 1.5 miles to the nearest river—disrupting learning and exposing students to exhaustion and safety risks.” [read more]
