The Kwabena Nartey community struggled with a severe water crisis and faced substantial challenges due to water scarcity and the contamination of available water sources. The community had two hand-dug wells for water needs, but one was designated exclusively for school use. This left the rest of the community dependent on a single well, leading to considerable resource strain. The reliance on just one well for such a large community resulted in long lines, as residents waited hours to collect water.
